"The price changed after the truck showed up. I'd taken the whole day off."

— What we hear from almost every new customer

We Built Our Business Around That Complaint

Bait-and-switch pricing and no-show crews are the two things people hate most about junk removal. So those are the two things we refuse to do. You get a price on the phone. We show up when we said. That number doesn't change at the door.

How It Works

Price on the Phone

You tell us what you've got. We give you a range before anyone drives anywhere.

We Confirm on Arrival

We confirm the quote when we see the load. If it matches what you described, we start. The number on the invoice is the number we told you.

We Haul It All

Everything quoted goes in the truck. When we leave, the space is clear and the job is closed.

Retail Store Cleanout in Aurora, IL

Retail space cleanouts run on a landlord clock, not yours. The lease expired, the next tenant is waiting, and the space needs to be empty and in acceptable condition on a specific date. We remove fixtures, shelving, display cases, and remaining merchandise from retail locations of any size and we work to meet those deadlines, not around them.

What We Remove

  • Gondola shelving systems, end caps, and display fixtures
  • Glass display cases, showcases, and jewelry cases
  • Checkout counters and cash wrap stations
  • Clothing racks, mannequins, and display forms
  • Signage, track lighting, and wall-mounted displays
  • Back-of-house shelving and stockroom racks
  • Unsold merchandise and packaging
  • Office furniture from back-office and manager areas
  • Security pedestals and camera mount hardware

How Gondola Shelving Comes Down

Gondola shelving is the standard bolt-down fixture in most retail stores, and it comes apart in a specific sequence. Shelves and brackets first, then upper wall panels, then lower base panels, then uprights. Doing it out of order damages the hardware and takes longer. We have done this enough times that it is not a puzzle on your floor. It is a process we follow every time.

Merchandise and Donated Goods

Sellable merchandise with no remaining retail path can go on our truck. If you want specific products donated to a particular organization, set those items aside before our crew starts loading. Once we are loading, everything on the truck goes to our disposal facility. For large volumes of product with potential tax-deductible donation value, talk to your accountant about the documentation requirements before the merchandise leaves your possession.

What "Broom Clean" Means for a Retail Lease

Most retail leases require the space to be delivered broom clean at termination: empty of all fixtures, equipment, and merchandise, with floors cleared and surfaces clean. Some leases specify more about patch requirements, overhead track systems, or electrical restoration. Review your move-out requirements before our job date so we know whether wall anchors, display brackets, and mounted equipment are part of the scope.

What Affects the Price

Square footage, fixture volume, and building access are the main variables. A small boutique is a half-day job. A 5,000-square-foot location with full gondola runs and a large stockroom is a full-day job for a larger crew. Loading dock access significantly speeds the work. We quote based on a walk-through or detailed description of the space.

We serve retail and commercial properties in Aurora, Naperville, Batavia, Geneva, and the Fox Valley. We work seven days a week including evenings for lease-deadline situations.

About Retail Store Cleanout

Can you work after business hours so we do not disrupt customers?

Yes. After-hours scheduling is standard for retail cleanouts. Whether you need us after close, on a weekend, or on a day the store is dark, we work around your schedule. Tell us the access window when you call and we will book accordingly.

Do you take gondola shelving and display fixtures?

Yes. Gondola shelving, slatwall panels, display cases, checkout counters, and signage hardware are all standard items for us. Some fixtures need to be disassembled before loading u2014 we handle that on site as part of the job.

How long does a retail store cleanout take?

A small boutique with light fixture loads is a half day. A larger space with floor-to-ceiling shelving, a loaded stockroom, and office furniture is a full day or more. Give us the square footage and a description of what needs to go and we will give you a realistic estimate before we schedule.

Can you coordinate directly with the landlord if we will not be on-site?

Yes. If you need to hand off access to a landlord or property manager for a lease-end cleanout, we can work with them directly on scheduling and key access. Coordinating with commercial landlords on tenant vacancy cleanouts is a standard part of what we do.
