"The price changed after the truck showed up. I'd taken the whole day off."
— What we hear from almost every new customerWe Built Our Business Around That Complaint
Bait-and-switch pricing and no-show crews are the two things people hate most about junk removal. So those are the two things we refuse to do. You get a price on the phone. We show up when we said. That number doesn't change at the door.

How It Works
Price on the Phone
You tell us what you've got. We give you a range before anyone drives anywhere.
We Confirm on Arrival
We confirm the quote when we see the load. If it matches what you described, we start. The number on the invoice is the number we told you.
We Haul It All
Everything quoted goes in the truck. When we leave, the space is clear and the job is closed.
Basement Cleanout in Aurora, IL
If you are reading this, there is a good chance the basement has been the plan for a while. Something finally made it urgent: you are selling the house, someone is coming to stay, or a project cannot start until the pile is gone. Whatever brought you here, we have cleared basements that looked exactly like what you are describing.
What We Remove
- Furniture in storage: sofas, dressers, bed frames, shelving units
- Appliances: washers, dryers, water heaters, chest freezers, dehumidifiers
- Exercise equipment: treadmills, ellipticals, weight benches, free weights
- Boxes, bins, and accumulated household storage
- Construction materials left from old projects
- Electronics, TVs, and computer equipment
- Carpeting and flooring pulled during a remodel
- Holiday decorations and sports equipment
The Question Nobody Asks Until We Arrive: The 32-Inch Door
Most basement stairwell doors are 30 to 32 inches wide. Most sofas, treadmills, and large appliances are not. If something went in during a renovation before the wall was closed up, it may not come back out the same way. We assess this before we start and tell you what has to be broken down versus what fits through. Treadmills are the most common problem. They fold, but the folded dimension often still does not clear the door frame or the low ceiling at the landing. We handle this on every basement job. It is not a surprise to us, and we will not let it be a surprise to you.
What Cannot Go on the Truck
Basements collect hazardous materials quietly. Old paint cans, pesticides, propane tanks, and automotive fluids cannot go on our truck. Kane County operates a permanent household hazardous waste drop-off on Fabyan Parkway in Geneva. DuPage County Health Department runs collection events through the year. Both are free for county residents. We identify these items, set them aside, and tell you specifically what to do with each one. Everything else leaves with us.
What Affects the Price
Volume is the main driver. A partial basement with a few pieces of furniture is a short job. A fully packed basement with appliances, exercise equipment, and years of storage is a bigger one. Stair difficulty, ceiling height at the landing, and door width all affect how fast the work moves. We give you a range based on what you describe and confirm the number when we see the space.
Who Calls Us
- Homeowners who want to finish or reclaim the basement space
- Home sellers who need it empty before listing photos or inspection
- Families clearing a parent's longtime home
- Landlords with a tenant-vacated unit that includes basement storage
We cover Aurora and the Fox Valley seven days a week. Same-day availability is common for morning calls.

About Basement Cleanout
Do I need to sort or organize things before you come?
No. You do not need to do anything before we arrive. We walk through with you at the start, you point out what you want to keep, and we handle everything else. No bagging, sorting, or moving items to a staging area required.
What if I want to keep some items and get rid of others?
Just point them out when we walk through. We work around whatever you want to keep. If items are mixed together on the same shelf u2014 keepers and junk side by side u2014 tell us and we will sort through it with you before we start hauling.
Can you take heavy items like old water heaters and exercise equipment?
Yes. Water heaters, chest freezers, treadmills, ellipticals, and weight equipment are common basement items and we handle them regularly. Stairs slow things down and affect the price, but we have the equipment and the crew to do it safely.
Are there items you cannot take from a basement?
We cannot haul hazardous materials: paint, solvents, pesticides, propane tanks, motor oil, and similar chemicals. Those go through your county household hazardous waste program. Kane, DuPage, and Will counties all have drop-off options. We can point you to the right resource and then haul everything else.
