"The price changed after the truck showed up. I'd taken the whole day off."
— What we hear from almost every new customerWe Built Our Business Around That Complaint
Bait-and-switch pricing and no-show crews are the two things people hate most about junk removal. So those are the two things we refuse to do. You get a price on the phone. We show up when we said. That number doesn't change at the door.

We Haul Everything
Every item we quoted goes in the truck. No cherry-picking, no leaving the heavy stuff.
Job Done. Nothing Left.
Truck's loaded, space is clear. No partial hauls, no second-trip fees, no callbacks. That's it.
Shed removal is a demolition job, not just a haul. Whether it is a rotting wood structure, a rusted metal shed, or a plastic resin unit that has seen better days, we break it down on-site and haul every piece.
What we find most often: the shed has been there for 15 years and is full of things the homeowner either forgot about or never wanted to deal with. We handle both — demolition and contents cleanup in one job. No need to empty it before we arrive.
How the job works: we assess the structure first. A shed in reasonable condition gets broken down methodically — roof panels off, walls down, floor boards up. A shed that has already partially collapsed or has significant rot gets treated differently. We clear the debris, sort what can be recycled, and load everything. Most shed removals, including clearing the contents, are done in two to four hours.
The question of concrete pads and footings comes up often. If you want just the structure removed and plan to leave the slab, that is a straightforward job. If you want the pad removed too — either because you are landscaping the area or because you want the space returned to grade — that changes the scope. Concrete removal is heavier, slower work and adds to the quote. Let us know when you call and we will include it.
Wood sheds, metal sheds, and resin sheds each have different characteristics when it comes to demolition. Wood structures need to be broken down carefully to avoid injury from nails and splinters. Metal sheds have sharp edges throughout the process. Resin and plastic sheds are lighter but often awkward to break into manageable pieces. We have done all three.
Common reasons people call: the shed came with the house and was never useful. A storm damaged the structure and it is no longer safe to keep. The yard is being landscaped and the shed is in the way. A new, larger structure is being installed and the old one needs to go first. The shed is so full of old junk that the whole thing is just easier to clear and start over.
We serve Aurora and the surrounding Fox Valley communities. Same-day and next-day scheduling available. Call us with a description of the shed — size, material, and whether the contents need to go too — and we will give you a quote on the phone.

About Shed Removal
Do I need a permit to tear down a shed in Illinois?
It depends on your municipality and the size of the structure. Some Aurora-area villages require a demolition permit for sheds over a certain square footage; others do not. Check with your local building department before the job starts. Permit or not, the physical removal process is the same on our end u2014 we just need to know before we schedule.
Can you remove the concrete slab or foundation too?
Yes, but it is a separate scope item that changes the quote significantly. Concrete is heavy, slow to break up, and adds substantial weight to the haul. If you want the pad removed, let us know when you call and we include it. If you are leaving the slab for a new shed, patio, or another use, that is a simpler job.
Do I need to empty the shed before you remove it?
No. We take the shed and everything inside it. Pull out anything you want to keep before we arrive u2014 everything left inside goes in the truck. Most sheds being removed have contents that are also unwanted, and clearing it all in one job is usually what people prefer.
How long does shed removal take?
A standard wood or metal shed in reasonable condition takes 2 to 4 hours including loading and cleanup. A large shed, a collapsed structure, or one requiring concrete pad removal takes longer. When you call and describe the shed u2014 size, material, condition, and whether the pad needs to go u2014 we give you a realistic time and price estimate on the phone.
